Mon - Thu 11:30PM The War Games eps 5 - 8 of 10 Fri 11:30PM The War Games eps 9 + 10 of 10 Over the weekend, see classic clips of Doctor Who stories with More Than 30 Years In The TARDIS. In theory, Resistance Is Useless would air afterwards, but I'm not certain about that. During the week, The War Games continues. The 2nd Doctor and company battle a race that wants to use humans as an intergalactic army. To determine the most competent humans, they are making the people fight the most savage wars of history, and picking the survivors. The last 2 episodes air as a double feature on Friday. In those episodes, the Doctor is in a real bind. He can only end the games and send the humans home if he calls in his own people. If he does, they will catch him and punish him for his own actions. |

SPACE: The Imagination Station http://www.hwcn.org/~an933/spacedw.htm and http://www.spacecast.com/ Sat - Mon 7:30AM EDT The Chase eps 4 - 6 of 6 (Journey Into Terror, The Death Of Doctor Who, The Planet Of Decision) Tue - Fri 7:30AM EDT The Time Meddler eps 1 - 4 of 4 (The Watcher, The Meddling Monk, A Battle Of Wits, Checkmate) Over the weekend, the Daleks continue their relentless pursuit of the Doctor. The TARDIS, in an attempt to show its contempt for this chase, lures the Daleks into an out of control funhouse and onto a planet where the plant life likes to eat people and Daleks. Of course, the TARDIS appears unaware that the same tricks that could kill the Daleks could also kill the Doctor and company. The rest of the week is spent by the coast of England in the Summer of 1066. It's the eerie calm before King Harold must fact both a Viking invasion and a French invasion almost simultaneously. England will be rocked to its very core. And someone with too much knowledge of the future wants to shake England even more. |

By the way - no recorders were harmed during the filming of that episode. Later, the 3rdDoctor and Jo find themselves on board a doomed cruise ship in the South Sea in the Summer of 1926. The ship is attacked by an extinct monster. |

Jon Pertwee finishes his role as the 3rd Doctor in this story. Some time ago, the Doctor removed a crystal from Metebelis Three. Now, its unrightful owners want it back, and are prepared to tear Earth apart to get it. These spiders have set up residence in the monastery where Mike Yates was trying to recover from the events of Invasion of the Dinosaurs. Only story where both of the Doctor's cars appear in the same story. As of publication time, it is unclear exactly when the broadcast will air. The Saturday broadcast is a particular question mark. TV Guide lists this 2 1/4 hour story as airing in a 90 minute slot. MPT's web site was listing it as beginning at 2AM (following a 2 ´ hour broadcast of a 52 minute Blake's 7) and running for 1 hour. |

The Time Lords send the Doctor and Jo to Spirodon, a jungle planet where the Daleks have set up operations. Why would the Daleks want a miserable, killer jungle like that whose only positive aspect is an absence of stairs? That's the real cliffhanger in episode 1, not the fact that Daleks are there. |
